'Live Big Lives - Leave Little Footprints' with PLSDF

Since the 1970s Phil Little has been at the forefront of the construction industry, with a primary focus on the implementation of sustainable principals and design. His core business has aligned with sustainable principals from the earliest days as a radical concept through to the burgeoning mainstream power it is today.

Over this thirty-year period Mr Little’s unyielding commitment toward building more ecologically sound communities has led him to pioneer solutions for the new millennium. Now the 21st century has arrived, strengthening his visionary resolve to share expertise and insight to drive the continued evolution of applied sustainable technology. This let to the creation of the Phil Little Sustainable Design Foundation (PLSDF).

PLSDF have endeavored through industrial design technologies to create two models for off-site manufactured (OSM) Sustainable Houses: the Greenhouse and the WOW House. In addition Phil Little has been commissioned to develop several Sustainable Villages, one of which was the first of it's kind to be approved by the United Nations and the Australian Building Commission!

Phil Little is available to address groups wanting to explore integrated sustainable technologies, its principals, and why it is so essential to underpin the healthy conditions for our preferred global future.

The PLSDF mission: To create a platform from which like-minded entities can assemble, collaborate, and formulate a cohesive response to the global SOS. This mission will be accomplished through a convergence of integrated applied technology at the Eco Design Centre, providing forums for innovation, generating visibility of industry (i.e. Solar Cities), and working to affect the public policy (i.e. Eco Codes Australia). Success will be evidenced by a greater awareness and implementation of sustainable design features within the building industry, the communities’ ability to act in an enlightened self-interest – and most importantly –                    reduced pressure on Mother Earth.
